Nurses are always interested in things that promote health and wellness. They look for overall body health. Most know that when you want to promote weight loss, the key is not to stop eating. You actually eat smaller meals more often. If you are a person that eats three meals a day, with long stretches in between or worse yet….eat one or two big meals a day, even skipping meals, your body thinks you are starving and will store fat.

When researching nutrition, one name kept jason ferruggia popping up on the search engines…Jason Ferruggia. Apparently, he is a fitness expert that has very diverse ways to promote healthy living. Diet and nutrition is a very important part of this. In a society that lives off of fast foods, he is one of many that promote less sugar, no artificial sweeteners, and organic foods.

For years, nurses (and doctors) have said, eat your vegetables, drink plenty of water, cut down on the sugar, and eat smaller portions. Most of you didn’t listen…but as we age, it is becoming more of a necessity.
